Houston Business Journal ranked Bayshore Medical Center and East Houston Regional Medical Center as one of the city’s Top 50 Best Places to Work for the third consecutive year. Honored at a recent ceremony, hospital CEO Jeanna Barnard accepted the Best Places to Work award on behalf of her 1,800 employees at the dual-campus facility of Bayshore Medical Center and East Houston Regional Medical Center.
“Recognition of the outstanding service and work environment created by our employees is a great honor, and to achieve such recognition not once but three times is a testament to the dedication of the team at Bayshore Medical Center and East Houston Regional Medical Center,” said Barnard.
Established in 2000, the contest honors companies that balance a stable, productive work environment with one that is fulfilling and rewarding for employees. Winners were determined based on employee answers to a questionnaire focusing on criteria including but not limited to team effectiveness, work engagement and trust in senior leaders.
“Our employees and managers consistently work together as a team to provide our patients with exceptional quality care while supporting each other. The environment of trust and care at our two facilities is second to none in the Pasadena and Southeast Houston area,” said Jennifer Johnson, hospital Director of Human Resources.
