For patients

From making an appointment through recovery, our goal is to give you an easy, safe and pleasant experience during your time with us.

At HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast, we are committed to excellence in patient care and service. We want all patients and visitors to feel comfortable and informed throughout their stay, and offer a number of support services for your convenience.

Patient information

Interpretation services

The hospital provides free interpretation services for those with limited English proficiency, and sign language interpreters for those who are hard of hearing or deaf. If you need translation services, please let your nurse know.

Mail

Mail and flowers are delivered to patient rooms by hospital volunteers. If we receive any items after discharge, we will contact the patient.

Pastoral care

We offer the services of the Lay Chaplain Ministry program, a volunteer organization of the Southeast Harris County community that offers patients and their families a shoulder to lean on, someone to talk and pray with, and a message of hope during lengthy hospital stays. If you want a lay chaplain to visit you, please discuss with your nurse. Our chapel is on the first floor in the main lobby, next to the gift shop.

Security

The issue of patient safety is a top priority at HCA Houston Southeast. We have a zero-tolerance policy for violence. Uniformed security staff are in the hospital 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
