Labor and delivery support

While prenatal care is performed at our satellite offices, active labor and delivery occurs at HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast's women's center. Our team works closely with you and your support team to provide a memorable birth experience.

Though we work hard to follow your birth plan, unexpected events may occasionally occur. HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast has everything in place to assist you quickly, including obstetricians and anesthesia services available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our midwives can also serve as first assists to physicians during cesarean sections.

In the event that your baby requires a higher level of care, our team of specialty-trained neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, advanced practice nurses and other healthcare professionals are here for you. Our Level II and Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nursery is fully equipped to meet your baby’s needs.
